Games.On.Net-DL allows you to download files from games.on.net (Internode's Game files server).
Features include:
When downloading files, you need (and can) only specify the file's ID as it is known to games.on.net/.
You will also need to put your username and password in the configuration file as games.on.net now require this when downloading. Configuration files are currently hardcoded to /etc/gamesonnet-dl.conf and $HOME/.gamesonnet-dlrc but if desired these paths can be changed, or your username/password pair put, inside the script itself.
TODO:
Games.On.Net-DL is just a bash script and therefore only requires bash and wget.
Having said that, it has only been tested in Linux (and only ArchLinux at that).
Here is an example of using Games.On.Net-DL to download some BioShock Infinate videos, limitting the download to 50Kb:
gamesonnet-dl -l 50K 52022 52019
On success, you should see output like this:
Download (52022) complete: 29207_BSI_Launch_Trailer_UK_Final_NewFrontScreen.mov
Download (52019) complete: GON_BioShock_Infinite_Video_Review.wmv
You can also specify an output filename when downloading single items:
gamesonnet-dl -l 50K -o BioShock_Infinite_GON_Review_-_This_Guy_Sounds_Sleepy.wmv 52019
Result:
Download (52019) complete: BioShock_Infinite_GON_Review_-_This_Guy_Sounds_Sleepy.wmv
Download Games.On.Net-DL v0.03
