Vimeo-DL --- A simple script to download videos from Vimeo.

Vimeo-DL is a simple script that allows you to download videos from Vimeo.

Features include:

• The ability to download videos :P
• [NEW] Support for recent Vimeo changes circa 2012 ( at least that's when I noticed them :P ).

Requirements

Vimeo-DL is just a bash script and therefore only requires bash, wget, sed and (e)grep.

Having said that, it has only been tested in Linux (and only ArchLinux at that).

Use Case

Here is an example of using Vimeo-DL to retrieve a video, namely THE ICE - ROAD to 3 PEAT Intro teaser.

Command:

vimeo-dl http://vimeo.com/47302607

On success, you should see output like this:

Downloading: THE_ICE_-_ROAD_to_3_PEAT_Intro_teaser_on_Vimeo.vimeo47302607.flv (http://vimeo.com/47302607)
